Each bowl is handcrafted by artisans who take pride in their workmanship. The bowl is lathe-turned from ONE solid piece of hard wood, Jujube wood, NOT from pressed and glued pieces. We use only the finest quality materials, so you can be sure that these dishes will last for years to come. Wooden rice bowl is not only used to serve rice for the dining table, which it’s also used for salad mixing, batter mixing, and serving of soup, curries in the table.

The bowl can be used to prepare condiments, dipping sauces, nuts, rice, soup, salads, fruits, appetizers, etc. And the bowl can be given to friends as a housewarming gift for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year.
Easy to care: Just use a soft sponge dipped in mild soap and water to wash your hands. Don’t forget to air dry after use. Avoid using microwave ovens, ovens, freezers or dishwashers, and avoid direct sunlight to deformation and discoloration. These multi use bowls can be used outdoors as well as indoors. The natural color of the wood may vary from a light brown to a dark brown, depending on the age of the tree and its location. The thickness of each bowls varies slightly so there may be some minor variations in size between individual pieces.
This product is a Sri Lankan made product made by our own talented wood craftsmen.

The volume of the bowl could hold 3-4 liters of content in it, which could serve 6-7 people at one time. Periodically wipe with a bit of olive oil, using a towel and wipe off the excess to the wood grain to original beauty when it appears to be drying out. You will have years of enjoyment with proper care.
