Hot Pot Stand
This Pot Stand is also known as daranu in Sinhala and also know as Trivet in western countries. Our hot pot stand is made by highly skilled Sri Lankan craftsmen using a variety of techniques. Eco-friendly, safe, non-toxic material like natural cane is used to make this Pot Stand.
Traditionally this type pot holder was used to hold hot pots after they are brought out of the oven, most of the Sri Lankan, pots, and pans had a round bottom. Pot stand was designed to hold such pots.
